Pete's Fresh Market Construction Starting In Spring

NEW LENOX, IL — Construction on Pete's Fresh Market will start in the spring, Mayor Tim Baldermann said at the state of the village address Feb. 13.

"Pete's is absolutely coming, they've submitted plans to us, we're moving forward," Baldermann said.

The village first approved the deal with Pete's Fresh Market in 2017. Pete's Fresh Market will be built next to Cooper's Hawk, off of Lincoln Highway.

Pete's Fresh Market operates several locations, including in Chicago, Bridgeview, Oak Park, Willowbrook and Lemont. Future locations for the grocery store also include Oak Lawn and Matteson.
