Spring playoffs have ended, and the headliner for New Lenox teams was a third-place finish in state for Providence Catholic softball.

Badminton
- Central: Marissa Lee lost in the singles first round. Veronica Baldermann and Jana Mudrock lost in the doubles third round of the state playoffs.
- West: Melissa Newman lost in the singles first round. Kendelle Faber and Elizabeth Bradshaw lost in the doubles first round. Kristyna Marks and Emily Bowsher lost in the doubles third round of the state playoffs.
Baseball
- Central: in the regional semifinals.
- West: Lost 11-2 to Marian Catholic in the sectional championship.
- Providence: Lost 9-5 to Marist in the sectional semifinals.
Gymnastics (Boys)
The Lincoln-Way co-op team placed second in state, and senior , winning a record six gold medals.
Soccer (Girls)
- Central: Lost 3-2 at Normal Community in the Class 3A sectional semifinals.
- West: Lost 2-1 vs. Providence Catholic in the Class 2A sectional semifinals.
- Providence: Lost 2-1 vs. Lincoln-Way North in the Class 2A sectional championship.
Softball
- Central: Lost 7-5 to Stagg in the Class 4A regional semifinals.
- West: Lost 10-0 to Providence Catholic in the Class 3A regional semifinals.
- Providence: Won 2-0 vs. Mattoon in the Class 3A third-place game. For a full box score, go to the IHSA website.
Tennis (Boys)
- Central: Len Madoch (singles) lost in the second round of the state consolation bracket. Ryan Champlin/Justin Weigal (doubles) lost in the first round of the state consolation bracket.
- West: Team finished eighth in sectionals.
- Providence: James Zeeman (singles) lost in the second round of the state consolation bracket.
Track & Field (Boys)
- Central: Chris Kaminski (3200-meter run) placed 36th in the state finals. Other state qualifiers: Joel Swanberg (pole vault), Brett Allpow (shot put).
- West: Team finished sixth in sectionals. State qualifiers: Mark Pedziwiatr (800-meter run), BJ Bello (200-meter dash) and team 4x400-meter relay.
- Providence: Team finished fourth in state. Chad Weaver (pole vault) placed third in state finals. The team 4x100-meter relay placed eighth in state with Troy Sheppard, Nick Pfiefer, Kevin Ward and Jake Hopkins in the relay. Andrew Helmin (110-meter high hurdles) placed fourth in state. Other state qualifiers: Brandon Denler (pole vault), Mike Monroe (high jump), Jesse Long (shot put and discus throw), team 4x100-meter relay, Andrew Helmin (300-meter intermediate hurdles), Troy Sheppard (100-meter dash and 200-meter dash), team 4x200-meter relay, Kevin Ward (400-meter dash), team 4x400-meter relay.
Track & Field (Girls)
- Central: Mallory Johnson finished 33rd in the 3200-meter run. JJ Robinson and Bri Tomnitz also qualified for state.
- West: Team finished 24th in state. Kaitlyn Neiheisel placed fourth in the pole vault and high jump competitions. Abby Hedlin placed ninth in the high jump. Natalie Waters placed 17th in the 3200-meter run.
- Providence: Five Class 2A state qualifiers: Team 4x800 relay, Kait Eisenberg (200- and 100-meter dashes), Lindsay Smoljan (pole vault) and Courtney Cleveland (800-meter run).
Volleyball (Boys)
- Central: Lost to Lincoln-Way East (25-18, 25-23) in the regional championship.
- West: Lost to Providence Catholic (29-27, 25-23) in the regional semifinals.
- Providence: Lost to Minooka (25-17, 20-25, 25-15) in the regional championship.
Water Polo (Boys)
- Central: Lost to Lockport 17-7 in the sectional quarterfinals.
- West: Lost to Central 11-10 in the sectional first round.
Water Polo (Girls)
- Central: Last game: Lost 9-6 to New Trier in the first round of the state tournament. Previously: .
- West: Lost to Central 10-3 in the sectional quarterfinals.
Junior High Track & Field
Martino Junior High and Liberty Junior High in District 122 also sent some athletes to state competition this weekend. Here's a rundown:

Eighth-grade girls:
- Danielle Morgan (Liberty) placed fifth in high jump, 12th in the long jump and 15th in the 200-meter dash.
- Brianna Darlage (Liberty) placed 21st in the 200-meter dash.
- Rachel Bjorklund (Martino) placed eighth in the 800-meter run.
- Liberty placed 15th in the 4x200-meter relay and 30th in the 4x400-meter relay.
Seventh-grade girls:
- Harmony Moran (Liberty) placed 23rd in the high jump.
- Courtney O'Donnell (Liberty) placed third in discus throw and eighth in shot put.
- Anamarie Antonelli (Liberty) placed second in the discus throw.
Eighth-grade boys:
- Brendan O'Hara (Liberty) placed ninth in the shot put and 17th in the discus throw.
- Ryan Barry (Martino) placed 20th in the 1600-meter run.
Seventh-grade boys:
- Marco Pettinato (Liberty) won the state title for discus throw and placed third in the shot put.
- Alekos Mitchel (Martino) placed second in the 1600-meter run and sixth in the 800-meter run.
- Zack Hutchinson (Martino) placed 26th in the 1600-meter run.
- Liberty's 4x200-meter relay (Noah Hibler, Andy Warrell, Aaron Kezda, and Jack Shiley) placed 21st in state.
