Plenty of Time to "Fall" into Music Lessons!

“We have added several additional classes to meet the needs of students and families who are new to music lessons,” said Janet Kuester, director. “These classes are great for assessing the child’s interest and readiness for further music instruction.”

October 21 is the first day of Smart Start piano classes in Orland Park. This class is offered for 4 Tuesdays from 4-430PM. Piano is taught in a small group. The instructor is Chris Eubank, an experienced vibrant traditional piano instructor, who makes every lesson enjoyable. The class is for children ages 7-10 years. Cost is $60.

Try it Piano will be offered in Frankfort for 3 - 1 hour classes on Fridays from 6-7PM. The instructor is Mindy Sonndag. The class is offered for children 5-8 years accompanied by parent or caregiver. Suzuki and traditional methods will be reviewed with parents. Children will learn to play some songs while learning through listening and rhythm games. Cost is $60.

November 8 is the first day of Children’s Chorus. This winter’s piece is: “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” The Chorus is directed by Gretel Mink Hansen. Children will perform at The Music Connection Holiday Concert in December. Cost is $79.

Music Masters 3 is designed for students ages 3-5 who have completed some early childhood music classes such as Music in the Box or Music Together. These young students and their parents will have fun through music, movement, and rhythm as well as explore pre-piano concepts and hands on experience with piano. The classes are offered Tuesday mornings. Cost is $30 for 4- 45 minute sessions.
