Drunk Pees On Theater Patrons: New Lenox Cops

The incident happened Sunday night at New Lenox's AMC Theater, according to village police officials.

NEW LENOX, IL - A 20-year-old man from Joliet, Samuel Vigil, was arrested by New Lenox Police Sunday night in connection with an incident inside the AMC Theater at 1320 West Maple Ave. According to New Lenox police, officers were summoned to the theater around 11:45 p.m. The police call concerned "an intoxicated male subject urinating on people," police reports state. Officers spoke with the movie theater patrons and learned that Vigil was the suspect.

"The officer met with the complainants who advised that while watching a movie, Vigil, who was sitting behind them, began urinating on them. Vigil was arrested and charged with battery," police reports show.

According to New Lenox Police, Vigil posted bond and was released from custody. As a result, he was not transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Will County jail logs reflect that Vigil was arrested in late October by the Joliet Police Department on a felony offense of unlawful possession of drugs and misdemeanor charges of having drug paraphernalia and having expired vehicle registration. As a result of that particular incident, Vigil was incarcerated at the county jail from Oct. 29 until Oct 31, when he posted 10 percent of his $10,000 bond.
