Providence Catholic High School to Host Open House

The sneak peek is scheduled for Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Providence Catholic High School, located on 75 beautiful acres in New Lenox and only minutes from I-80 and I-355 welcomes all grade school students and their families to attend their annual Open House Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Several hundred faculty, staff, coaches, students and parents will be on hand to share information about and their experiences with the various academic, spiritual, athletic and extracurricular programs that PCHS has to offer,” said Rachel Ellingson, Director of Enrollment. “Guests will have the opportunity to witness first-hand the hospitality of the Providence Catholic family.”

“Our demanding co-educational, college preparatory curriculum is evidenced by the success of our most recent graduates who earned scholarships valued at nearly $28 million. We offer inclusive service programs; in fact, our recent graduates performed in excess of 20,000 hours of community service during their high school careers,” added Fr. Richard McGrath, President.

Moreover, Providence Catholic offers competitive athletics and comprehensive extracurricular offerings. The school currently holds 27 state championship titles; the most among private high schools in the state of Illinois. In 2014, the school’s varsity baseball team captured the state championship title and the poms and cheerleading teams both placed third at state.
