Prowlers Break Into New Lenox Target, Abscond With iPads

Two crooks broke into the New Lenox Target early Thursday morning and made off with iPads.

Police reportedly learned of the caper shortly after 5:30 a.m. and an “officer was dispatched to Target reference a report of a burglary.”

“The complainant advised that they were remotely monitoring the surveillance cameras and detected two unknown individuals force entry through a front door of the business and remove an unknown number of iPads and leave through the rear of the building,” police said. “The offenders were gone upon the officers arrival.”
