Quality Quickprint Will Merge New Lenox Location Into Joliet
The owner is trying to rent or sell the location on West Route 30, but would also consider opening a different type of business, such as selling promotional items.

Since rehabbing its building in 1987, Quality Quickprint has been in its location on Maple Street. But the business is leaving New Lenox now to merge with its downtown Joliet location, a move that the owner says will ultimately improve customer service and refine printing operations.
"With customers demanding printing quick, by merging the two offices and offering free delivery, we'll be able to speed up production with more hands on deck so to speak," owner Janet Schatz said.
In the electronic age, a drive-up window, such as the one at the New Lenox location, isn't as much of a convenience compared to the speed of email.

"Our customers rely more and more on emailing jobs to us," Schatz said. "We're able to reply with a proof or send those files direct to press, which is a big convenience for them. Years ago all of that had to be done over the counter. Today we have so many more options."
Currently, Quality Quickprint is looking to rent the location at 306 W. Maple St. in New Lenox. But Schatz said there's a possibility, especially if an interested renter can't be found, that she would open a different kind of business, perhaps one that creates custom promotional items such as pens.
