FEB. 12
CAR BURGLARY

Reported at 12:27 p.m. at Reclaim Fitness, 1325 E. Lincoln Highway.
"The complainant advised that someone stole credit cards from their wallet. The complainant indicated their wallet was inside their vehicle, which was parked at Reclaim Fitness while they worked out. The credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle."

FRAUD
Reported at 2:03 p.m. in the 600 block of Grace Court.
"The complainant advised that someone fraudulently added a license plate to their IPASS account."
FEB. 13
CAR BURGLARY
Reported at 2:37 p.m. at Reclaim Fitness, 1325 E. Lincoln Highway.
"The complainant advised that someone forced entry to their vehicle and stole money. The complainant indicated their vehicle was parked at Reclaim Fitness while they worked out."
RETAIL THEFT
Reported at 3:28 p.m. at TJ Maxx, 475 E. Lincoln Highway.
"The officer was dispatched to TJ MAXX in reference to a delayed Retail Theft report. The complainant advised that several (people) entered the store and stole approximately $450 worth of clothing from the store."

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE
Reported at 1:38 p.m. at 358 W. Lincoln Highway, New Lenox Currency Exchange
"The complainant advised that a (person) attempted to cash a fraudulent check. The (person) attempting to cash the check indicated they received the check as payment for a job they accepted through an online advertisement."
FRAUD
Reported at 7:21 p.m. at 2356 E. Lincoln Highway
"The complainant, a manager from TCBY, advised that a customer tendered a counterfeit $100 bill as payment."
FEB. 18
CAR BURGLARY
Reported at 10:44 a.m. at LA Fitness, 2431 E. Lincoln Highway
"The complainant advised that someone entered their locker and stole their car keys while they worked out. The complainant indicated that the offender then went to their vehicle and stole money from their wallet. The complainant’s car keys were found and turned into an LA Fitness employee."
RETAIL THEFT, THREE ARRESTED
Reported at 1:27 p.m., 2370 E. Lincoln Highway, Target
"The officer was dispatched to Target in reference to a Retail Theft Report. The complainant advised that the subjects entered the store and stole several bottles of alcohol totaling over $250. All three subjects posted bond and were released."
The suspected thieves who were arrested on charges of retail theft are: Jame E. Gomez, 31, 600 block of Fox, Joliet; Teneisha Gomez, 34, same address; and Sharon Bowen, 58, of Hammond, Indiana.
FRAUD
Reported at 2:41 p.m., at 600 W. Lincoln Highway
"The officer was dispatched to the McDonalds in reference to a counterfeit currency report. The complainant advised that (someone) attempted to pay for a food order using a counterfeit $100."
FEB. 19
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Reported at 5:27 p.m., 1500 W. Lincoln Highway
"The officer was dispatched to the vacant KMART in reference to an alarm. The officer discovered that someone forced entry to the building and set off several fire extinguishers."
