Rep. McDermed Announces Pizza Townhalls
State Representative McDermed hosting informal townhall for constituents

Mokena, IL…. In total this year the Governor has signed 404 bills into law and vetoed 40. After the November election, the Illinois General Assembly will reconvene to take up votes on vetoed bills and renew the budget conversation. State Representative Margo McDermed (R-Mokena) invites constituents to join her for a Springfield update on Wednesday, September 21st at Beggar’s Pizza in Mokena or Thursday September 29th at Little Joe’s Pizza in New Lenox for a pizza townhall
“One of my duties as your State Representative is to make sure you’re informed about the various laws that may impact you, and get your feedback on what’s going on in Springfield,” Rep McDermed said. “The upcoming fall veto session will deal with many important state issues and it's possible you will see some heated debates. I’m hosting these townhalls to hear your views on important state issues, give a brief update, and take any questions you might have while you enjoy some pizza."
