Retail Thefts, Christmas Decorations Stolen: New Lenox Arrests
New Lenox Police reports through Dec. 2.
The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Nov. 27
- A 6-foot Christmas ornament decoration was stolen from a yard in the 2400 block of Bluestone Bay Drive.
- Briana Richardson, 22, of Joliet; and Tiffany Green, 32, of Joliet; were arrested at 3:11 p.m. at Target, 2370 E. Lincoln Highway and charged with retail theft. The two stole over $800 worth of electronics and alcohol. Richardson also had an outstanding Will County warrant.

- An unlocked car was stolen in the 2300 block of Cardinal Drive. The car was found the following day on I-57.
Nov. 29
- Morgan Smith, 27, of Richton Park, was arrested at 10:32 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and I-80 and charged with speeding, driving while license suspended and suspended registration.

- Jessica McGrew, 28, of Joliet; and Kanisha Peten, 29, of Lockport; were arrested at 4:58 a.m. at Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, and charged with retail theft. McGrew was also charged with criminal trespassing to property since she was not allowed at the store due to past retail thefts.
- James Hastings, 60, of Joliet, was arrested at Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, and charged with retail theft.
Dec. 1
- Je'Chyre Jones, 20, of Markham, was arrested at 10:04 a.m. at Lincoln Highway and Oak Drive and charged with speeding, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Dec. 2
- Steven Baltazar, 21, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:23 a.m. in the 600 block of West Lincoln Highway and charged with disobeyed traffic sign, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle.
