Retail Thefts, License Suspended: New Lenox Police Reports
New Lenox police reports through March 23.
The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
March 16
- Dina Brooks, 53, of Calumet City, was charged with driving while license suspended, expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 6:57 a.m. at Ellis and Gougar roads.
- Zachary Esler, 27, of Minooka, was charged with speeding, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 7:14 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and I-80.
March 17

- Jarvis Perkins, 34, of Joliet, was charged with driving while license revoked at 1:23 a.m. in the 700 block of E. Lincoln Highway.
- A skid loader and a box plow were stolen from the Jewel parking lot, 2021 E. Laraway Road.
- An employee's wallet, cell phone and keys were stolen from behind a counter at Jewel, 475 Nelson Road.
March 20
- Carrie O'Connor, 50, of Frankfort, was charged with retail theft at 11:36 a.m. at Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway. O'Connor bought several items in the self-check-out but didn't scan several other items, reports state.
March 22

- Valencia Chandler, 23, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft at 2:04 p.m. at Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway. Chandler purchased several items in the self-check-out but did not scan several other items, reports state.
