Retail Thefts, License Suspended: New Lenox Police Reports

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

March 16

• Dina Brooks, 53, of Calumet City, was charged with driving while license suspended, expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 6:57 a.m. at Ellis and Gougar roads.
• Zachary Esler, 27, of Minooka, was charged with speeding, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 7:14 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and I-80.

March 17

• Jarvis Perkins, 34, of Joliet, was charged with driving while license revoked at 1:23 a.m. in the 700 block of E. Lincoln Highway.
• A skid loader and a box plow were stolen from the Jewel parking lot, 2021 E. Laraway Road.
• An employee's wallet, cell phone and keys were stolen from behind a counter at Jewel, 475 Nelson Road.

March 20

• Carrie O'Connor, 50, of Frankfort, was charged with retail theft at 11:36 a.m. at Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway. O'Connor bought several items in the self-check-out but didn't scan several other items, reports state.

March 22

• Valencia Chandler, 23, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft at 2:04 p.m. at Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway. Chandler purchased several items in the self-check-out but did not scan several other items, reports state.
