Retail Theft, Purse Stolen: New Lenox Police Reports

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Nov. 8

  • Arthur Mansch Jr., 50, of Plainfield, was arrested at 9:28 a.m. at Lincoln Highway and Prairie Road and charged with driving while license suspended and expired registration. Mansch also had a warrant out of Will County and Westchester Police Department.

  • A man stole two bottles of alcohol from CVS, 115 E. Lincoln Highway. Total loss was $85.
  • Stephanie Tito, 31, of the 2200 block of Daniel Lewis Drive, was arrested at 6:38 p.m. in the 500 block of East Lincoln Highway and charged with retail theft.
  • A man punched another man in the face several times for talking to his wife at Tom Kelly's, 495 Degroate Road. The offender and his wife were gone by the time police arrived. The victim had minor injuries.

Nov. 10

  • Je'chyre Jones, 20, of Markham, was arrested at 8:04 a.m. at Lincoln Highway and Vine Street and charged with driving while license suspended, speeding and no valid insurance.

  • Someone broke a window on a car and stole a purse in the 1200 block of Wirt Road. The car was parked on the driveway overnight when the burglary occurred.
