Romeoville Man Left Dog In Car Parked Outside Silver Cross For Hours On Hot Day: Cops
The temperature reached 86 degrees that day.
A Romeoville man left his dog locked in a car parked outside Silver Cross Hospital for hours on a sweltering hot day, police said.
A New Lenox police officer was sent to the hospital parking lot about 4:15 p.m. Monday to investigate a report of a dog locked inside a vehicle.
“The officer learned that the dog was left unattended inside the locked vehicle for hours during hot weather,” police said.

The temperature reached 86 degrees Monday.
“Entry was made into the vehicle and the dog was turned over to Will County Animal Control,” police said. “The dog’s owner, Angelo Ingala, was subsequently arrested and charged with confinement in a motor vehicle.”

Ingala, 75, was released after he posted bond.
