Route 30 Watermain Replacement Project Expected Through July 17

Vine Street south of RT 30 will be closed beginning Monday, July 6, 2020, and will be open no later than Friday, July 17, 2020. The detour will include Cedar Road, Haven Avenue and Nelson Road. Local traffic will be able to access the businesses and properties located on Vine Street via Haven Avenue.

The contractor has begun installation a new water main between Nelson Road and Church Street. The southern eastbound lane of RT 30 may be closed for installation of the new water main.

The contractor is completing connections to the new water main between Nelson Road and Veterans Parkway. Additionally, they are installing the new water main along the south side of the street between Veterans Parkway and Vine Street. Installation of the water main will continue to the east. As the contractor installs the water main in this area, property owners will have restricted access to their driveways during the time the contractor is installing the new water main. This work will be completed as soon as possible and stone placed in the trench to provide access. All driveways will have access by the end of the day.
