Runner From New Lenox Finishes Boston Marathon
John Molchin finished the biggest race of the year with an impressive time.
NEW LENOX, IL - One of the thousands of runners who finished the 2017 Boston Marathon on Monday is from New Lenox.
John Molchin beat the 4-hour mark by more than three minutes, finishing with a final net time of 3 hours, 56 minutes, 25 seconds. He paced 9:01 on the 26.2 mile course that ends of Boylston Street in Boston.
Molchin, who wore Bib #12362, placed at number 14,605 overall, 9,296th among male participants and 1,198th out of those in his 50-54M age group.
