Nothing Bundt Cakes Opening In Mokena
Owners of the new Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery in Mokena have set the opening date.

MOKENA, IL - Very soon, Lincoln-Way residents will get another option to satisfy their sweet teeth. The owners of the Orland Park Nothing Bundt Cakes plan to unveil a second location on Monday. This one south of the I-80 bridge and catering to residents of Mokena, Frankfort and New Lenox.
The new bakery, located at 12225 W. Lincoln Highway in Mokena, will open as part of a retail building at the corner of U.S. 30 and Wolf Road. Bob Bong of the Daily Southtown first reported on the new bakery opening.
Owner Bob Feldman said he's "so excited" to expand to Mokena, partly because he and his wife, Beth are Mokena residents themselves.

"We really wanted to be in the Lincoln-Way area because we saw a tremendous amount of guests from there at our Orland Park location and thought it would be more convenient to capture their everyday dessert needs," Bob Feldman said.
"The Orland Park location has continued to grow and grow and grow," he added. "This also gives us more capacity to operate."

Feldman called the retail building they are going to be a part of "amazing," and that the village of Mokena has been completely supportive of their expansion endeavor.
"It is truly an honor to have a bakery in our home town," he said.
The new bakery will celebrate its grand opening over the first week of October, when an autographed jersey of a different prominent Chicago sports winner will be auctioned off each day.
