Lincoln-Way Foundation To Host Half Marathon, 10K
The net proceeds from the event will fund scholarships as well as grant requests for educational enhancements.
FRANKFORT, IL — The annual Lincoln-Way Foundation Half Marathon and a new 10K will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14. The district said the run will kick off around 7 a.m. in downtown Frankfort at Breidert Green.
The net proceeds from the event will fund scholarships as well as grant requests for educational enhancements made on behalf of the students at Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210.
The district said the foundation is currently seeking runners, volunteers and sponsors for the Half
Marathon/10K as well as raffle items. The event is open to all ages. There will be music, food, refreshments, exhibitors and more.
