Security Camera Fails to Thwart Theft of Security Camera

A security camera installed at a Haven Avenue business did little to deter crooks from stealing it.

The theft from the business on Haven near Gougar Road was reported to the New Lenox police on Tuesday morning.

An officer was reportedly told an “unknown person removed a security camera from the business property,” police said.

New Lenox police detectives were on the case.
