Senior Health and Safety Expo 'One Fall Can Change It All'
New Lenox is hosting an awareness event In support of National Older Adults Falls Prevention Day.

NEW LENOX, IL - The Village of New Lenox and the New Lenox Safe Communities America Coalition, in partnership with the New Lenox VFW, are hosting a Senior Health and Safety Expo on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A FREE Continental Breakfast will be provided to the first 100 seniors who attend the event at the New Lenox VFW, 323 Old Hickory Road.
In addition to the FREE breakfast, sponsored by the New Lenox Public Library, Dryer Vent Wizard of Will County, Riverside Health Care and the Hahs Family, there will be a number of other activities that seniors can take advantage of. There will be FREE balance screenings, medication reviews, flu shots, blood pressure screenings and hearing screenings. In addition, there will be exercise demonstrations and a chance to win some excellent door prizes as well!
