Sentence Stands for LW Coach Who Had Sex with Student
Edward Cetwinski hoped to spend less time behind bars. A judge swatted away that request.

A Will County judge on Tuesday stood firm on the prison term for a former Lincoln-Way bowling coach who had sex with a student.
Edward R. Cetwinski, 47, of New Lenox, was transported from the Jacksonville Correctional Center to request that Judge Amy Bertani Tomczak reduce his time from six to four years.
But Tomczak wasn't having it, citing that there had been two separate occurrences, reports the Herald News.

Cetwinski was a volunteer coach at Lincoln-Way Central during the 2009-10 school year and began exchanging sexual text messages with a 15-year-old girl. He then reportedly gave her a ride home from a tournament, and performed oral sex on her.
The text messages with the girl continued even after the bowling season, according to the prosecutor.
