Shoplifter Boosted Booze From New Lenox Jewel
The thief absconded with the liquor and remains at large.
A crook took liquor from a New Lenox Jewel Wednesday afternoon.
A police officer was reportedly sent to the Laraway Road Jewel shortly before 3:30 p.m. to look into theft complaint.
The officer was told an “unknown person removed bottles of liquor from the store without paying for them,” police said.
