Silver Cross Senior Advantage to Host Health Fair Nov. 5
Free Health Screenings, Medicare Advantage Plan Information, Flu Shots and More

Silver Cross Senior Advantage will hold a Senior Health Fair on Monday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Silver Cross Hospital Conference Center, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox. Complimentary valet parking is available.
Maggie DelReal, Senior Vice President of United Healthcare, will present a free lecture –Medicare Made Clear, at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Attendees can also talk with representatives from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, and United Healthcare about the 2018 Medicare Advantage plans throughout the event. A sales representative will be present with information and applications.

Walgreens will offer flu and pneumonia immunizations (insurance will be billed). In addition, attendees can receive information about stroke from the Silver Cross Neuroscience Institute; emergency care and urgent care; cancer prevention and care; diabetes from the Silver Cross Diabetes Center; Home Health Care; Silver Cross Sleep Disorders Center; Wound Care Center, Lifeline Medical Alert Program; and volunteering at Silver Cross. There will also be representatives from the following skilled nursing facilities: Alden Estates in Orland, Alden Estates in Shorewood, Lemont Center and Victorian Village.
