Sleepy Driver Crashed Into New Lenox House: Cops

The sleepy Manhattan man had a revoked driver's license and no insurance, police said.

A Sleepy Manhattan man dozed off long enough to crash into a New Lenox house, police said.

David Freiberger, 33, also turned out to have a revoked driver’s license and no insurance, according to police.

An officer was sent to over to Brett Drive shortly before 7:30 p.m. “in reference to a vehicle that crashed into a residence, police said.

The officer learned that the driver of the vehicle, Freiberger, fell asleep at the wheel,” police said. “Freiberger had a revoked driver’s license and no proof of valid insurance.”

Freiberger was released from custody after posting bond.
