Sleepy New Lenox Woman Wanted For Identity Theft, Gets To Rest Up In Jail
The woman was sleeping at the New Lenox IHOP when the cops apprehended her, police said.

A New Lenox woman sleeping at the local IHOP turned out to be a wanted identity thief, police said.
Stacey Robertson, 43, was taken into custody about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
An Officer was sent to the “IHOP Restaurant in reference to a subject sleeping in the restaurant,” police said. “The officer met with the individual, Stacey Robertson, and through the investigation learned that she had two outstanding arrest warrants.”

Robertson was wanted in Will County for both identity theft and the unlawful possession of a credit card. She also has a retail theft case in DuPage County.
Robertson was taken to the Will County jail. She remains in custody.
