In Remembrance of our fallen, the American Legion Post 1977 Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion and Legion Riders on May 10 from 8am to 12 pm will be at the Jewel at 2021 East Laraway Road and at the intersection of Cedar Road and Illinois Highway with Poppies for a donation.
Starting May 17th until May 31st poppies will also be distributed for a donation at the cash registers at Berkot's (2141 Calistoga Drive in New Lenox) during business hours.
100% of all donations collected benefit our local active duty military, our Veterans and their families.
