Thankstaking--Joliet Woman Caught Stealing From New Lenox Walmart on Thanksgiving: Police
The Joliet woman made it out of the store, police said, but apparently didn't get too far.
A Joliet woman got caught stealing from the New Lenox Walmart on Thanksgiving, police said.
Alice Waits, 26, was charged with retail theft in connection with her alleged holiday hijinks.
An officer was sent to the Walmart about 3 a.m. Thanksgiving morning.

“The officer learned that Waits had removed merchandise from the store without paying for the items,” police said. “Waits was arrested for retail theft.”
Waits was released from custody after she posted bond.
