Thief Escapes New Lenox Walmart With Shopping Cart Full of Loot
It looks like the crook took care of his Christmas shopping.
A crook absconded with a shopping cart full of merchandise from the New Lenox Walmart in the midst of the holiday season.
An officer was sent to the East Lincoln Highway superstore shortly after 8:30 p.m. Saturday to look into a complaint of someone stealing.
A security guard had spotted a man rushing out of the store with a shopping car laden with Walmart loot, police said. A review of store surveillance video showed the man had loaded the cart with merchandise and left without paying.
