A thief snatched money a customer left to pay his bill at the Beggars Pizza in New Lenox, police said.
An “officer was dispatched to Beggars Pizza reference a report of theft,” police said. “The complainant advised that an unknown person took money that another customer had left to pay their bill.”
Detectives were instructed to probe the 9 p.m. Friday crime.
