Tickets Available for Aug. 13 'Music in the Moonlight' Concert in Mokena

Groove to the sounds of the band Midlife Crisis during this free Forest Preserve District of Will County concert at Hickory Creek Preserve.

The Forest Preserve District of Will County’s "Music in the Moonlight" concert is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, at Hickory Creek Preserve – LaPorte Road Access in Mokena. Midlife Crisis will be the featured band that evening. Formed in 1999, the four-member musical group plays classic rock, disco, pop and funk classics.

Free tickets for the concert are restricted due to limited parking. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis until the tickets are distributed. To register, visit ReconnectWithNature.org. Once registered, a confirmation email will be sent with the tickets attached. Registrants must print their tickets and bring them to the concert to be admitted. Five tickets are allowed per registrant.

Admission to the concert opens at 5 p.m. Those who attend are encouraged to bring a cooler filled with their favorite snacks and beverages, and blankets or lawn chairs for seating. Wearing insect repellent is recommended. The concert will be held on paved pathways and natural surfaces across uneven terrain.
