"The TPP and You"

With Labor Day celebration just behind us, some questions for you! Do you care about: human rights; workers’ rights and wages; labor unions? How about the environment, healthcare, education, safe water, food safety, generic drugs, freedom of the Internet, banking regulations, and our very own sovereignty?????

All of the above and much more, are at stake pending the passage of the TPP (“Trans-Pacific Trade Agreement”), often referred to as “NAFTA on STEROIDS.” A very secretive trade agreement that most Americans have never heard of and know nothing about . .. .fortunately, there’ve been leaks.

LEARN what the TPP, if passed, would mean for you, your children, future generations and our national sovereignty and how it would impact just about every aspect of our lives and the quality of them. Be aware, too, that beginning November 2014, during the lame duck session of Congress, a big push is expected to pass the TPP via “Fast Track,” “Smart Track,” or “Trade Authority Promotion” (TPA) – though the names may appear differently, it is all the same thing … “Fast Track.”
