Trinity Triumph 5K Run/Walk

Run. Walk. Celebrate! Lace up your shoes for the 4th Annual Trinity Triumph 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the New Lenox Village Commons. Bring your mission to ours. Celebrate achievements or milestones in your life in support of Trinity Services’ mission to help children and adults with disabilities live full and abundant lives.

Trinity Services, a 64-year-old nonsectarian, nonprofit organization serves 3,500 people with disabilities in 29 Illinois communities in Will, Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Peoria, Jackson, and St. Clair counties, and Reno, Nevada. 

For those who prefer a shorter route, a 1K option is available. The 5K course is certified by USA Track and Field and the race will be chip-timed for accurate results. Awards will be given to fastest male and female as well as top performers in various age ranges.

Celebrate your story, be an inspiration, or participate in memory of someone. Share your reason for running or walking on race day on the Wall of Triumph and online on Facebook at TrinityTriumph.

Triumph participants can register online at www.trinitytriumph.com or by calling 815-717-3750. 5K pre-registration entry fees are $25 for ages 13 and older, $15 for ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and younger. Entry fees on the day of the event increase to $35 and $25, respectively. For every $25 registration fee or individual donation, supporters receive a chance to win an iPad donated by American Landscape & Associates, Inc.

The first 200 pre-registered participants will receive a complimentary sports performance shirt. Registration check-in is from 8 to 8:45 a.m. The race begins at 9 a.m.

Participants also may opt to create their own fundraising page online. Ask friends, family and coworkers to support Trinity’s mission to help people with disabilities live full and abundant lives.
