Vandalism At School, DUIs: New Lenox Police Reports

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

April 8

  • Two bottles of alcohol were stolen from CVS, 115 E. Lincoln Highway. The value was $37.

  • A mailbox was stolen from a property in the 700 block of Lisson Grove.
  • Someone spraypainted graffiti on the wall of Martino Junio High School.
  • Someone spraypainted graffiti on the back of the Hibernia Park sign. The graffiti was similar in color and nature to the graffiti at Martino Junior High.

April 10

  • Jeffrey Sparrow, 58, of Gary, Indiana, was arrested at 2:55 a.m. in the 2200 block of Haven Avenue and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding. He also had an active warrant from Orland Park Police Department.
  • Someone spraypainted graffiti on a street sign at Kris Drive and Haven Avenue.
  • Spraypainted graffiti was found on the storage containers near the football field wall of Martino Junior High.

April 12

  • Someone spraypainted graffiti on the back of the Aldi building at 351 E. Lincoln Highway.
  • Kristine Halper, 52, of Mokena, was arrested at 8:59 p.m. at Target, 2370 E. Lincoln Highway, and charged with retail theft.

April 13

  • Gregory Dague, 29, of the 1800 block of Heatherway, was arrested at 12:59 a.m. at Shagbark and Nelson roads and charged with DUI and speeding.
  • Erick Delgado-Luna, 24, of Chicago, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. at Lincoln Highway and Vine Street and charged with DUI.

April 14

  • Michael Marquez, 28, of the 700 block of Bob White, was arrested at 12:23 a.m. at Laraway Road and Rachel Ridge Drive for DUI.
