Vendor/Craft Fair Planned for Oct. 22 at Silver Cross Hospital

40 artisans will sell handmade crafts and baked goods. Admission is free.

The Will County Union of King’s Daughters and Sons will hold the fourth annual Silver Crossings Vendor/Craft Fair on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 9 am. to 3 p.m. in the Silver Cross Hospital Conference Center, Pavilion A, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd., New Lenox. Free valet and shuttle bus service. Admission is also free. Strollers are welcome.

Over 40 artisans will be selling handmade craft items and homemade baked goods. Lunch will be available for purchase in the Silver Cross Hospital Seasons Dining Room. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each or six for $5 for cash prizes of $100, $250 and $500. The drawing will be held on Oct. 22. Winner need not be present.

Proceeds from the Vendor/Craft Fair benefit the Silver Cross Inpatient Dialysis Unit. For more information, call Volunteer Services at Silver Cross Hospital at (815) 300-7117.

The International Order of King’s Daughters and Sons is one of the oldest Christian service organizations in the United States. Founded in 1890, the Will County Union of King’s Daughters and Sons continues to support the dream and project started by a small group of local women over a century ago—to build Silver Cross Hospital.
