VIDEO: New Lenox's Botterman Scores Perfect 10 at Michigan
The former Lincoln-Way Central gymnast is having an outstanding senior season in the Big Ten.
Former gymnast Kylee Botterman has been having an excellent season at the University of Michigan, but her performance Sunday was perfect.
Botterman, now a senior at No. 8 Michigan, scored a perfect 10 this weekend in a meet against No. 2 Stanford and No. 9 Nebraska. It was the first perfect 10 scored in NCAA gymnastics this season and the second of Botterman's career.
She's won the Big Ten Player of the Week award four times this season, including . According to Michigan's athletics website, Botterman won her sixth straight all-around title with a season-best 39.625, just 0.050 shy of her career best. She also won the floor title with a 9.900, giving her 16 individual awards in six meets.
