Providence to Face St. Rita on Friday After 45-8 1st Round Win: Video Highlights
Six Providence touchdowns scored on Saturday.
Providence Catholic scored on its first five possessions on the way to a 45-8 win over Quincy in the opening round of the IHSA 7A playoffs Saturday in New Lenox. The victory sets up a second-week showdown with St. Rita. Providence quarterback Justin Hunniford passed for 259 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Sean Diehl scored three touchdowns, and P.J. Kowalkowski kicked a 30-yard field goal.
