Vrdolyak Law Sues New Lenox Jewel

The Tinley Park law firm's client had visited the grocer on Laraway Road.

NEW LENOX, IL - The Vrdolyak Law Group in Tinley Park has filed a new civil lawsuit against Jewel Food Stores. Their plaintiff, Janice McCarthy, was injured as a result of her visit to the New Lenox grocery store on East Laraway Road, the lawsuit states.

McCarthy visited the Jewel-Osco on Dec. 3, 2016 and "was, in fact, lawfully upon said premises," noted attorney Peter Vrdolyak in his recent filing at the Will County Courthouse.

The civil lawsuit states that "Plaintiff Janice McCarthy was struck with a cart by an employee/agent of the defendant, causing injury. As a direct and proximate result of one or more of the aforesaid acts and or omissions by the defendant, Jewel Food Stores ... Janice McCarthy suffered injuries and damages of a personal, pecuniary and permanent nature."

Vrdolyak Law Group demands a judgment by Will County's court system of more than $50,000 plus the legal costs for bringing their lawsuit forward.
