Wanted Joliet Man Captured by New Lenox Police
The Joliet man was wanted for failing to appear in court in Franklin County.
A missing front license plate led the New Lenox cops to arrest a wanted Joliet man, police said.
James Shadowens, 34, of 24 N. Park Road was arrested shortly after noon on June 10 during a traffic stop near the corner of Route 6 and Nelson Road.
An "officer observed a vehicle that had no front registration plate and conducted a stop," police said. "The officer discovered that the driver, Shadowens, had a warrant for his arrest from Franklin County."
Shadowens, who was also charged with the improper display of a registration, was released after he posted bond.
