Warrant Served at Silver Cross Hospital: Cops

Sewer grates stolen from subdivision and vacuum stolen from Target in recent New Lenox police reports.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Theft

An officer was dispatched to Brittany Drive in reference to a complaint of a theft of a sewer grate at 9:52 a.m. on April 16. The officer discovered several other sewer grates had been stolen in the Grand Prairie subdivision.

Retail Theft

An officer was dispatched to Target in reference to a complaint of a retail theft at 3:39 p.m. on April 17. The complainant advised that the unknown offender stole a Dyson vacuum from the store.

Unwanted Subject/Warrant Arrest

Mitchell W.G. Hart, 28, Joliet was charged on a warrant at Silver Cross Hospital at 2:59 a.m. on April 21. An officer dispatched met with the complainant who wanted Hart to leave to property. Upon investigation, the officer learned that Hart had an outstanding Cook County warrant for his arrest.
