Week Seven Football Player of the Week is Caleb Marconi

The week seven Kevin Molloy State Farm, WJOL 1340, Pigskin Preview was awarded to Lincoln Way West junior running back Caleb Marconi. He had 180 all-purpose yards on Friday Oct. 5 in the Warriors 17-7 playoff clinching win over a very talented Thornton football team. Lincoln Way West is located in New Lenox.

Marconi and his Warrior teammates will close out the regular season with road games against Stagg and Andrew High Schools. After those two games, they will have to wait to see where they place in their quest for a State championship.

Kevin Molloy State Farm, in conjunction with WJOL Pigskin Preview, recognizes a player of the week from the area high schools. On December 5, 2018, a celebration banquet is scheduled when all the State Farm Agent Kevin Molloy, WJOL, Pigskin Preview awards along with the offensive player of the year, defensive player of the year and Coach of The Year. The banquet will be at Gina's Teardrop Café. Limited tickets will be able to be purchased for this event and will sell out quickly.
