Spring sports began this week with dominant performances from some of the area's top teams. Defending champion softball team, Sandburg, swept a weekend series against Moline to maintain the top spot in our Power Rankings. The Eagles' boys water polo team looked great, too, and Chicago Christian's baseball team won 11-0.
