Welcome Our New Advertising Manager

I'm happy to welcome a new member to the Patch team in the area.

Sharon Kenzinger Carr is our new advertising manager, and she can help answer all your questions about publicizing your business on Patch sites in the area, including ads, coupons and .

She will handle advertising on Mokena Patch, New Lenox Patch and Tinley Park Patch, as well as local deals on Frankfort Patch.

Sharon has lived in Tinley Park for 11 years, and she's most proud of her three children: Patrick, 13; Declan, 11; and Caroline, 5.

She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a master's degree in education and then taught for seven years, including a couple years in the .

After that she ran her own advertising business, publicizing golf courses, and was a consultant at Channel 5. She also has experience teaching people how to run their own business.

"I love Patch. This makes sense to me as a mother to go to one spot and know exactly what's happening in my community," she said.
