Will County Board Member From New Lenox Seeks Second Term
Raymond Tuminello, a New Lenox resident, was first appointed to the Will County board in 2014.

NEW LENOX, IL — Will County District 12 board member Raymond Tuminello has announced he will seek a second term. Tuminello was first appointed to the board in 2014.
Tuminello, a New Lenox resident, is the owner of manufacturing business Quality Glass Block and also serves as a forest preserve commissioner. He has also previously served for three terms as a New Lenox village trustee.
According to a release from his campaign, Tuminello's list of accomplishments include the construction of a new and improved public safety complex on Laraway Road and the ongoing construction of a new courthouse and public health building.

“It has been a privilege to serve the residents of Will County and I look forward to continuing my work and producing results for both the county and its residents,” Tuminello said in a release. “My greatest accomplishments have been fulfilling many of the safety and capital needs of the county while voting to lower property tax rates each year I have been in office.”
The Illinois primary will be held March 17, 2020. Tuminello is running as a Republican and will run against Tom Weigel, also a New Lenox resident. On the Democratic ballot, Erin Moncek, of New Lenox will run against JoAnne Hamilton-Gunkel, of Mokena.
