It is the intent of the Will County Board and Will County Executive to share these funds where they are most needed in Will County. Residents, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and local governments can apply for grant funding to help offset the economic impacts of COVID-19. The federal guidelines for CARES funds can be found on the Will County Board Website under the CARES Act Information. New expenses such as personal protective equipment, cost to small business due to business interruption or closures, electronic equipment purchases to aid in remote learning, working from home or providing replacement services via the internet are a few of the expenses which could be reimbursed. If you would like to apply for the grant funds you can register on the Will County Board Website for an application to be filled out as soon as they become available.
