Will County Sheriff's Department Hiring for Correctional Officers

The Will County Sheriff’s Merit Commission is accepting applications for correctional officers, now through Jan. 26.

The commission will accept up to 400 applications for the Feb. 21 testing date. Application period will be closed early, if the limit is reached prior to that date. The top 175 scores from the written exam will move forward in the process.

Starting salary for the position is $37,085 with benefits and uniforms. All applicants must pay the $25 processing fee (checks only accepted), to be mailed with the application to the Will County Merit Commission, before the deadline.
