Woman Leaves Laptop in Unlocked Car & it Gets Stolen: Cops

Someone stole a laptop out of an unlocked car parked in New Lenox, police said.

A New Lenox police officer was reportedly sent to the scene of the crime on Bon Terre Road about 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The owner of the missing computer told the officer an “unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and removed a bag containing her laptop,” police said.

Detectives from the New Lenox Police Department were reportedly on the case.
