AdlensFocuss brings visionary technology to United States

AdlensFocuss(TM) brings visionary technology to United States

Rosin Eyecare will be the first in the Midwest to carry this innovative product at 15 of their 19 Chicagoland locations. AdlensFocuss™ provides the benefits of a single vision lens – full frame viewing area – with the best features of a progressive lens – the ability to see at different distances.

Often as we get older, we need different strength glasses for different tasks: driving, reading, using a computer or smartphone. Fifty-four million people in the US currently wear progressive lenses, and that number will continue to increase as the population ages. Yet, according to a GFK Roper Study, about one-third of wearers say they have trouble adjusting to progressive lenses - and seven to eight percent of progressive lens wearers say they cannot adjust to them at all.

What’s unique about AdlensFocuss™ is that it allows the user to control sharp focus themselves, at any depth. They also offer at least four times more viewing area than traditional progressive lenses (the limited field of view with traditional progressive lenses is among wearers’ chief complaints). They are prescription glasses with proprietary technology; a unique flexible membrane allows the power to be adjusted by simply turning small dials on the inside of the frames. Dials for each lens also allow vision to be adjusted differently in each eye.

For those who face the prospect of wearing progressive lenses, AdlensFocuss™ is truly an amazing innovation - not to mention the only smart eyewear on the market that is actually designed to improve your eyesight (unlike some other high-tech glasses touted for checking your email or watching a movie!)
