Alpana Patel is the new Executive Director of Saint Andrew Life Center. In her new role, Patel will direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations at Saint Andrew Life Center, which provides independent living, assisted living, memory care and intermediate nursing care. Her day-to-day responsibilities will include planning, marketing, personnel management, annual budget process, financial oversight and maintenance and compliance of the physical plant and property.
She comes to Saint Andrew with extensive healthcare and senior services experience. Since July of 2004, Ms. Patel was the Assistant Director of Nursing at Maryhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Glenview. Concurrently, in 2011 she was also the Director of Nursing Education at Americare Technical School in Park Ridge. From August 2003 to July of 2004, Ms. Patel was a Restorative Nurse and Assistant Director of Nursing at Saint Francis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Evanston. She has been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Illinois since March of 2005.
Ms. Patel received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Masters of Science in Nursing as well as a Masters in Business Administration with a Certificate in Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix. She is also certified in rehabilitation nursing.
