Bella Terra Morton Grove Sued for Negligence

MORTON GROVE, IL - A Morton Grove physical therapy clinic has been accused of failing to prevent a resident’s fall.

Bella Terra Morton Grove and the Bethany Terrace Nursing Centre were named in a lawsuit alleging negligence, according to The Cook County Record.

The lawsuit was filed in Cook County Court by Davor Engel, who is the independent administrator of the estate of Dusan Engel.

Dusan Engel experienced an unwitnessed fall in his room that contributed to the deterioration of his health, according to a complaint made in the suit.

Bella Terra is claimed to be responsible because they failed to provide adequate supervision to Engel to address her risk of falling.

A judgement of more than $500,000 is sought.
