Boxing Fight Night at Notre Dame College Prep

Notre Dame College Prep, 7655 West Dempster Street in Niles, Illinois, announces its 9th Annual "Boxing Fight Night" on Friday, March 28. Doors will open at 6 pm. The first bout will begin at 7 pm.

Notre Dame students, matched by weight, age, and previous experience will engage in three rounds (one minute per round) boxing exhibition bouts. Fifty-five Notre Dame students began training on January 10. Head Coach Jack Cook, assisted by coaches Danny Romano and Patrick Weber, will match pairs of boxers. The Friday evening card will feature fifteen bouts.

The 18' x 18' boxing ring will be assembled center-court in Notre Dame's gymnasium with general bleacher seating as well as main floor seating available for the same admission price.

Judges, referees, corner-men, warm-up men, timer, physicians, trainers and our Master of Ceremonies will all locate ring-side. Refreshments will be available at the Cross and Anchor Concession Stand, and chances in the "Split the Pot" raffle will be sold throughout the evening, with the drawing before the final bout.

General admission for all seating is $5.00 and NDCP students are free. For more information, please call 847.779.8664. Or visitwww.nddons.org
