Bee Day at the Market!

Come see a real bee hive with our bee keeper, John Bailey, extruding honey, along with honey snacks, bee's wax cosmetics, bee story time, bee kiddie crafts, bee face painting, all bee all day long!

Want to learn where your honey comes from? Visit the Morton Grove Farmers' Market this Saturday from 8am to 12pm and see a real bee hive at work. John Bailey, the market's own bee keeper, will bring his bees and a slice of their hive to view in an enclosed clear case so that shoppers can see and learn where their honey is made. This safe demonstration will also have John extruding honey from the combs and answering questions from the audience.
In celebration of these amazing creatures, LAZ cosmetics will have free examples of products which use Bailey's bee's wax, to try at their booth. Joy N' Pure Honey Nut Snacks will have organic granola treats to eat made with real honey.
Stop by the Kiddie Corner at 9am for a Bee Story Time along with a free bee craft and bee face painting all day long.
The Morton Grove Farmers' Market is at 6210 Dempster Street next to Harrer Pool and is open Saturday, 8am to 12pm. For more information or to volunteer at the market check out the website www.mgfarmersmarket.com and like the market on Facebook.
